Set up Social Proof

What an agent needs to install the SDK and turn Social Proof notifications on.

This page makes notifications able to show. The sentences visitors read are Social Proof templates. Notifications stay empty until a template exists.

1. Use the Saasco MCP

If Saasco is not connected, read https://www.saasco.com/docs/mcp.mdx and follow the steps for this client. Sign in, allowing "Create and change data in your projects". Search with saasco_search_tools, then run the tool with saasco_execute_tool.

Pass project id YOUR-PROJECT-ID. On a connection scoped with ?projectId=, omit projectId.

2. SDK, then the switch

If this repo does not call saasco.init(), follow Setup for coding agents first. Notifications are built from events the SDK sends.

Call socialProof_getSocialProofEnabled. Ask before turning notifications on. That is socialProof_updateSocialProofEnabled with enabled true.

Then follow Social Proof templates. Tell them a page with ?saasco_notifications=test shows the feed even when events are quiet.

Create short links

What an agent needs to create short links for a product's real public URLs.

Social Proof templates

What an agent needs to create notification templates from the product's real events.
