# Remove from List

DELETE /api/v2/projects/{projectId}/crm/contact-lists/{contactListId}/members

Removes a contact from a static list, identified by the contact's distinct ID. The contact itself is not deleted. Returns `null` if they were not in the list. Has no lasting effect on a dynamic list, whose membership comes from its filter.

- projectId: string, path, required — ID of the project that owns the list.
- contactListId: string, path, required — ID of the contact list to remove them from.
- contactDistinctId: string, query, required — Distinct ID of the contact to remove from the list.
