# Set up Feedback

This page sets up the board. Seeding posts is [Draft feedback posts](https://www.saasco.com/docs/feedback/posts.md). The roadmap is the public side of the same board.

## 1. Use the Saasco MCP

If Saasco is not connected, read https://www.saasco.com/docs/mcp.mdx and follow the steps for this client. Sign in, allowing "Create and change data in your projects". Search with `saasco_search_tools`, then run the tool with `saasco_execute_tool`.

Pass project id `YOUR-PROJECT-ID`. On a connection scoped with `?projectId=`, omit `projectId`.

## 2. Topics and visibility

Call `feedback_listTopics` and `feedback_getFeedback`. Add topics with `feedback_createTopic` only for areas this product actually has. Do not add a topic named "Feature request".

Ask whether the board is public. Set that with `feedback_updateFeedback`. Leave statuses alone unless the defaults do not fit this product.
