# List Collections

GET /api/v2/projects/{projectId}/knowledge/collections

Lists a help center's collections, each with its articles and nested child collections, for building the navigation tree. Nested articles omit body, description, reaction counts, and author — fetch an article by id for those. Includes drafts and internal articles. Use List Public Collections for the reader-facing version.

## Request

- projectId: string, path, required — ID of the project that owns the help center.
- helpCenterId: string, query, required — ID of the help center whose collections to list.
- parentId: string, query — Only return children of this collection. Pass `null` for top-level collections; omit for all of them.

## Response

- 200: Successful response
- 400: Invalid input data
- 401: Authorization not provided
- 403: Insufficient access
- 404: Not found
- 500: Internal server error
