# Get Clean Settings

GET /api/v2/projects/{projectId}/crm/clean/settings

Returns the project's list-hygiene settings, which control whether new contacts have their email addresses validated automatically as they arrive.

## Request

- projectId: string, path, required — ID of the project whose clean settings to read.

## Response

- 200: Successful response
  - autoValidateNewContacts: boolean, required — Validate the email address of every new contact as it is created. Validation is billed per contact, so this trades spend for list quality.
- 400: Invalid input data
- 401: Authorization not provided
- 403: Insufficient access
- 404: Not found
- 500: Internal server error
