# Draft changelog entries

This page drafts updates. Creating the changelog is [Set up Changelog](https://www.saasco.com/docs/changelog/setup.md).

## 1. Use the Saasco MCP

If Saasco is not connected, read https://www.saasco.com/docs/mcp.mdx and follow the steps for this client. Sign in, allowing "Create and change data in your projects". Search with `saasco_search_tools`, then run the tool with `saasco_execute_tool`.

Pass project id `YOUR-PROJECT-ID`. On a connection scoped with `?projectId=`, omit `projectId`.

## 2. Write from this repo

Read recent commits in the working tree. Do not look them up through Saasco. Call `changelog_listChangelogEntries` first so you do not repeat an update that is already there.

Call `changelog_createChangelogEntry` for one to three updates a customer would care about. Write them in the product's voice, tag them, and save them as drafts. Ask before publishing. Then stop.
