# Set up Support

Uses the Saasco MCP. If the `saasco_search_tools` tool is not available, or you do not know which project `YOUR-PROJECT-ID` is, fetch and execute https://www.saasco.com/agent-setup/prompt.md first, then come back to this skill.

Support is set up when visitors on this product's site can open the widget, the widget talks about this product, and support email lands in the inbox if they want it. The support and domain tools say what each call does and what it returns. This page is what to decide, and when you are done, for `YOUR-PROJECT-ID`.

## 1. Install the SDK

The widget loads from the Saasco SDK. If this repo does not call `saasco.init()`, follow [`saasco-sdk`](https://www.saasco.com/.well-known/agent-skills/saasco-sdk/SKILL.md) first.

## 2. Where the widget runs

List every hostname this product serves visitors on. Find them in the repo: the marketing site, the app, and the docs, if they are separate. A listed host includes its subdomains, so `example.com` covers `app.example.com`. Ask only if the repo does not say.

## 3. What the widget says

Write the widget copy from this product, in the way the site already talks:

- **Workspace name:** the product name.
- **Greeting:** one line that sounds like the site.
- **Team description:** who answers, and roughly when, if the product says so.
- **Suggested questions:** up to four questions a real customer would ask. Take them from the product's features and its help-center articles.

Do not promise behavior the product does not have.

Ask before turning the widget on. Leave both AI agents at their default unless the user says otherwise.

## 4. Support email, if they want it

Ask whether customers should also email them. Suggest `support@` on the product's domain.

Follow [`saasco-add-domain`](https://www.saasco.com/.well-known/agent-skills/saasco-add-domain/SKILL.md) for receiving. It keeps the MX records their current inbox depends on, so a root that already gets mail moves to a subdomain such as `help.example.com`.

Set the support mailbox only after receiving verifies. If it is still pending, say so and stop. Running this skill again later finishes it. Do not poll.

## 5. Finish

Tell the user:

- the sites the widget is allowed on, and whether it is on
- the copy you wrote
- the support address, and whether it is verified or still pending

Do not rotate the messenger secret, turn on identity verification, connect outside tools, or paste a secret.
