# Set up Shortlinks

Uses the Saasco MCP. If the `saasco_search_tools` tool is not available, or you do not know which project `YOUR-PROJECT-ID` is, fetch and execute https://www.saasco.com/agent-setup/prompt.md first, then come back to this skill.

Shortlinks is set up when a short hostname on this product's domain is verified on `YOUR-PROJECT-ID`. The domain tools say what each call does and what it returns. This page is what to decide, and when you are done.

## 1. The short-link domain

Follow [`saasco-add-domain`](https://www.saasco.com/.well-known/agent-skills/saasco-add-domain/SKILL.md) for short links. It reuses a hostname the project already has, or picks a short subdomain such as `go.example.com` that does not already serve a site.

## 2. Check it is verified

If it is still pending, say so and stop. Saasco keeps checking. Do not poll.

## 3. Finish

Tell the user the hostname, and whether it is verified or still pending. Create a link only if they asked for one, to a real public page of this product.
