# Set up Knowledge

Uses the Saasco MCP. If the `saasco_search_tools` tool is not available, or you do not know which project `YOUR-PROJECT-ID` is, fetch and execute https://www.saasco.com/agent-setup/prompt.md first, then come back to this skill.

Knowledge is set up when the help center looks like this product's site, is on the domain they want, and has published articles. The knowledge tools say what each call does and what it returns. This page is what to decide, and when you are done, for `YOUR-PROJECT-ID`.

## 1. One help center

Read the project's help center. Create it only when there is none, named after the product. Do not create a second one.

If [`saasco-knowledge-theme`](https://www.saasco.com/.well-known/agent-skills/saasco-knowledge-theme/SKILL.md) sent you here, stop once the center exists and go back to that skill. Do not match the theme, add a domain, or write articles from here.

## 2. Match the website

Follow [`saasco-knowledge-theme`](https://www.saasco.com/.well-known/agent-skills/saasco-knowledge-theme/SKILL.md). A customer moving from the site to the help center should feel they are in the same place.

## 3. The help-center domain

Ask which hostname the help center should live on, such as `help.example.com` or `docs.example.com`. If they want one, follow [`saasco-add-domain`](https://www.saasco.com/.well-known/agent-skills/saasco-add-domain/SKILL.md) for the help center. Do not add one they did not agree to.

## 4. Fill it

Follow [`saasco-knowledge-articles`](https://www.saasco.com/.well-known/agent-skills/saasco-knowledge-articles/SKILL.md). A published public article in a collection is what turns the public site on.

## 5. Finish

Tell the user:

- the help center's link, on their domain once it verifies
- what you matched from their site, and what you left at the default
- the collections and articles you published
