# Set up Email Marketing

Uses the Saasco MCP. If the `saasco_search_tools` tool is not available, or you do not know which project `YOUR-PROJECT-ID` is, fetch and execute https://www.saasco.com/agent-setup/prompt.md first, then come back to this skill.

Email Marketing is set up when a domain on `YOUR-PROJECT-ID` is ready to send: sending is verified and link tracking is verified. The domain tools say what each call does and what it returns. This page is what to decide, and when you are done.

## 1. The sending domain

Follow [`saasco-add-domain`](https://www.saasco.com/.well-known/agent-skills/saasco-add-domain/SKILL.md) for sending. It reuses a domain the project already has, or picks one from the product's own site that will not disturb the mail it already sends. Email Marketing needs sending and link tracking both verified.

## 2. Check it is ready

Read the domain `saasco-add-domain` used, from `domains_listDomains` with no `readyToSend` filter. It can send only when `emailStatus` is `ACTIVE` and tracking is verified: `trackingVerificationStatus` is `VALID`, or `trackingSubdomain` is null.

If sending is `ACTIVE` and tracking is not verified, the tracking CNAME is still missing. Follow step 5 of `saasco-add-domain` for that record, then verify once. If the records are already added and still pending, name the pending one and say Saasco keeps checking. Do not poll.

## 3. Finish

Tell the user:

- the domain they will send from
- which records were added, and at which host
- what is verified, and what is still pending

Setup does not write or send a campaign. Draft one only if they asked. Send nothing.
